I'm just finishing up the Sacred Stones now. I'm on a roll

I may try Shadow Dragon first. Start from the beginning, find out what the big deal is about Marth aside from the obvious.

I want to try Shadow Dragon, but I heard it was stupid. Like insanely so. There's a Fire Emblem fanatic Mod on IGN who says "It's good if you want to know Marth's story, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it"

It's also been called many people's least favorite in the series.

Also from the sword of flame.

Ok, this is definitely my favorite thread this year. And I suspect @Idree is just trolling, even though he/she knows the truth. Kratos would sneak up on Samus? If you begged Kratos to use stealth, he'd kill you then go challenge Samus head on anyway.

Is it your fav even above this?

Because it's quite a long thread, here's a concentrated view of why it's so funny:

How stupid could it be? What could they have changed from the original NES game?

Anyway, maybe I'll come back to that one, then.

I dunno. I'll ask Crista about it and I'll get back to you on a wall post or something. I started with PoR and RD, then went to SoF, and the Sacred Stones. I'm trying to get myself a fan translation of the Binding Blade though.

Shadow Dragon is a good game. But it's nothing really special. It does have a good score, some memorable quotes (especially Caeda's famous Fire Emblem quote), some memorable characters (Marth, Lady Caeda, Tiki, the "Whitewings" Palla, Catria, Est and their Master Minerva, Ogma, Merrick, Nyra and especially Camus). But the story and the gameplay are really basic. Think of it as the vanilla Super Mario Bros of fire emblem games. Plus Marth is considered by many to be the 2nd weakest Lord of them all.

If I were to choose a great fire emblem to get into the series,  Id be Fire Emblem GBA (aka The Blazing Sword). It was the first one released in NA and has many memorable characters (too many to name), and one of the best stories in Video Game history. Sacred Stones should be played right after this, but don't expect it to be better than Blazing Sword (its actually shorter and the characters and villains arent as memorable), still a solid game with a great story. Then Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn in that order (since RD is the Sequel to PoR). Radiant Dawn is a huge hit or miss. FE fans either think its the worst game in the series or one of the best games of all time( Rd is my fave). Even the ones who hate RD dont say its a bad game though.

Who's the weakest? My favorite Lord would have to be Lyndis.

Well Kratos could just ambush Samus when she isn't looking, and use the Blade of Olympus to cut that suit open like a sardine box.

And the same for Sonic, plenty of times he can be ambushed by Nathan drake stealth choked to death.

Telekinesis & dodging speed & powers have no use in an ambush where you can be killed before you can assess the situation.

We have Sly & Raiden who can both sneak and ambush the fast ones, pick them off 1 by 1 killing them with a quick throatslice or a gunshot, and then those who have immortality, as i mentioned zeus can take on the immortal ones.

Then when the immortal ones lost their immortality, we scatter back, probably lose 1 or 2 but its a trade -off for taking out the everyone except the immortal ones.

Then we ambush the last couple in the same manner.

Hide in the dark, use guerilla tactics as ours have been trained in combat isntead of just powers, we use tactics.

Show them the Art of War.

Simple as that.

Samus's suit has a radar and that sword will simply just bounce off.

Sonic can travel through time and invulnerability. Sneaking, and choking isn't a problem.

Ness also has telepathy so he would sense them before they even be near. I don't you understand how fast Sonic is. At minimum, he moves at hypersonic speeds. From his perspective, all the enemies move slow.

A throatslice won't kill most of Nintendo as I said before, they have durability, invulnerability, or ways of detecting sneaking enemies. Also, Rosalina survived the destruction of a universe. You're not hurting her, much less killing her.

PS-All Stars would need time to ambush while Shulk can just will PS-All Stars to non-existence or have the Triforce with Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf giving Nintedo another instant win.

Also, Nintendo characters have stealth too.

In Metroid Zero Mission and Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, Samus was shown to have sneaked around several enemies, tripwire, lasers, and sensors. Link in Skyward Sword sneaked past several enemies as well. Toon Link sneaked around an entire fortress in Wind Waker without any weapons.

I also want to point out that Nintendo has characters that use tactics for a whole army. His or her name is Robin. You know, the same guy who used tactics to out smart a powerful dark sorceror, a god and even fate itself.

Lucina was also a commander for a small army as well.

Shulk, before he became god which allowed him to make the universe under his control, lead a small team to fight back against mechon.

Being alone, is my greatest fear.
