That's good, I really don't know much about Fire Emblem. I played Awakening but I've been hearing some crazy things about Ike in this thread.

It's the All-Stars characters I really need to learn about though, I don't know much about Nariko or Spike or Emmett among others, though the only All-Stars characters I've seen mentioned more than a couple of times are Kratos, Raiden, Ratchet & Clank, and Jak & Daxter.

Basically, in Radiant Dawn, the Fire Emblem was holding the Goddess of Chaos. And the Goddess of Order was going to kill everyone if she woke up. So when she is woken up, everyone but those protected by the Goddess of Chaos were turned to stone, and it's up to Ike and his crew to defeat the Goddess of Order. So he does. And the game ends with him killing her and sailing off into the sunset. Or something like that. It's been a while.

Is Ike or his sword imbued with any kind of special power or is he just rad and bad enough to kill gods whenever he feels like it?

Ok, this is definitely my favorite thread this year. And I suspect @Idree is just trolling, even though he/she knows the truth. Kratos would sneak up on Samus? If you begged Kratos to use stealth, he'd kill you then go challenge Samus head on anyway.

Ike does have a special sword, yes. I believe it was what enabled him to hurt her. 

And Chaos is a good guy because having chaos may be bad, but without Chaos, the world would be worse. She's a pretty cool girl. As for Order, she was so fed up with all the war going on, she told the people that she was going to go to sleep for a thousand years, and if the peace was broken before then, she would kill everyone. So some people used that to their advantage, and created war.
