Hyrule Warriors will give you a reason to play. It'll be a good chance to try out a musou game for the first time IMO.

Trying new things is fun, and even if you don't love the Dynasty Warriors style, there should be enough Zelda love to keep you entertained.
By the way, the challenge isn't really in killing grunts so much as it is in managing the battlefield. There are loss/win conditions beyond just killing enemies/not dying so it has a bit of a tactical edge alongside the combat.

So what would an appropriate level of challenge be? Hyrule Warriors is roughly right in the middle between Monster Hunter Tri and Twilight Princess. |
I don't really have a 'level' of challenging. I just prefer games where I can't breeze throw it and that I will fail missions and get killed from time to time.

Awesome game, brilliant fun and very strategic. There is also DLC support for the game as well, which looks pretty cool.

THOSE ARE YOUR REASONS, right there...
1. The game is full of fan service, throwback to the old games, references than only the fanboys will understand, and you get the possibility of playing with your favorite characters AND some villains.
2. You need to give those games at least a try, if you have never played before, this re-skin is the perfect excuse to do it
Go ahead, buy it!
I'd buy it. So far it has been exceeding my expectations. It is really fun. I've played about 3 hours today already, will probably play another hour later.
This is my first Warriors game and Zelda is my favourite series.
The only complaint I have with this game: This would have been the perfect opportunity to have voice acting.

You're just asking for approval from others to make sure your choice isn't a bad one. So, we can infer that you want the game. The question now becomes "how much?" Since this isn't about eating another slice of pizza, it isn't so simple as saying "do it!" because it's $60. IMO, you want the game but not enough to shell out full price for it. This leaves 2 options: 1) If patient, simply wait for a deal or price drop 2) If not, get it because you obviously want it |
Did you just suggest to wait for Nintendo to drop the price?
That doesn't really happen, you see.
Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Untrue. Wonderful 101 can be found for a pittance, for example, and the Metroid Prime Trilogy was being given away for a while. Retailers will discount heavily to clear stock shortly, I suspect.
Go to gamestop and play it they have the demo on the demo wii u's
