EDIT: Sorry, have to clarify what I mean:
Here's my response to Conegamer:
"(...)[M]y understanding of the Dreamcast is that it is very much like the GameCube: a lot of great first-party games, less than stellar third-party support, and that the people who actually have the console - and bothered to put up with it - love it!
Besides, I have this rather awkward stance that I think that the Wii U is what the Dreamcast could've been should the Saturn (in the Wii U's case, the Wii) have been successful: more ambitious, and maybe even more third-party games!(...)"
Again, sorry to those who I ended up offending in this statement, I must apologize. *Deep bow*
I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
:3
Don't we all wish for a new Dreamcast?

The Wii U wishes it was the dreamcast!
Both the Xbox and Dreamcast had some of the best openning 2 years in gaming. Wii U been ok, but not amazing.
People need to stop latching onto the Dreamcast as if it were the greatest console ever. Yea, it had some gems on it, but it was only out for 2 years and then was discontinued. Jet Set Radio, Power Stone, Shenmue, the 2K Series, and Ready 2 Rumble are not reasons to think the DC was greater than even the Gamecube. We may think it was better than it actually was because it had the "definitive" version of many games (like Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2), but that was because it was the only next gen console out at the time. Don't let that cloud your perception of the console.
And the quality of Sega's games have done nothing but go downhill, so what would a DC2 even bring to the table? Mediocre 1st party exclusives?
Let Dreamcast rest peacefully. We all have fond memories of it, but the gaming landscape has changed, and a Dreamcast 2 just wouldn't hold up
Me and my friends still play 4-player Virtua Tennis 2 on the Dreamcast regulary at my place
Played it this week. Its great gun.
Our main 4-player games are still Virtua Tennis 2, Mario Kart 64, GoldenEye and Blaze & Blade on the the PSX with the multi-tap.
Nothing beats local multi-player.
