Meh... I like the style, but all i see is a shooter with rails.

I will keep my eye on it, but the only XO exclusive that got my attention until now was scalebound.

I care. It was one of the main reasons I traded away my ps4. I bought the black Forza 5 bundle and with the money I got for my ps4, I preordered the white Xbox One. So I will have 2 Xbox Ones in my home :) On topic, this game, Forza Horizon 2, and Halo MCC convinced me to go back to Xbox. Their lineup is just better for the rest of the year. Also, im sure Microsoft will market the hell out of this game as soon as Forza Horizon 2 launches next week. One thing at a time.

It happens every 4-6 weeks and is listed on their flyers. Electronics are part of the deal so you can save the taxes on consoles and games. You can use that $52 on Xbox Live or a 2nd game. Best to wait until then or those 2 shopping holidays.

Microsoft needs this to work. It's a real game as opposed to a cinematic experience. But it might be too self aware at times

if you've ever played an Insomniac game (Resistance 3 or earlier) you should know their quality.  This is the only game I'm jelly of Xbox for.  Really looks like a blast but not nearly enough to sell the system like ToD was back in 07 for me.

It seems pretty similar to Ratchet & Clank (go figure), and those don't seem like system sellers for PS (I could be wrong). Plus it's not anywhere on Amazon's top sellers list, so my guess is No, not a system seller.

For those who think MS is not pushing this game: the last few movies I have gone to have all had an Insomniac featurette on Sunset Overdrive in the previews. Don't know how much that costs, but it can't be cheap. I don't go to the movies all that often, so this would be over the last few months.

Me? I used to really, really like Insomniac - Resistance 1 was a system seller for me. And my kids loved Ratchet & Clank. We bought everything through R3 and ACIT, and in spite of their schizophrenic tendencies to change everything between every game (at least in Resistance), they were all good-to-great games. But everything after that seems half-assed, and they now seem more worried about themselves/owning their own IP than creating good games. In the Overstrike/Fuse fiasco, they didn't even wait until the game was released to go schizo and change everything (it initially had me interested again). So at this point, I am more fatigued with their erratic behavior than anything else, and jumping from Sony to MS just seems like a lover's spat that is bound to end in disaster. I suspect MS wooed Insomniac away from Sony just to ensure they couldn't create anything for Sony in the meantime.
