Got done figuring out the average prices the average prices for newegg and it's around $550 ... Microcenter is clearing the stock with a price of $500. What I said about amazon prices remain true for the most part. Tiger Direct sells them for roughly $650. NCIX is retailing them for around $700 ... 

So you go on about current prices and specifically state newegg, it gets pointed out that theyre as cheap as $430 ON NEWEGG and then you go off on a tangent about other stores and averages?

Point is you can still buy two 780ti's and get better overall performance, for less than the price of a 295x2.

They should cost less than a 295x2 considering they take up twice the room and have less VRAM.  The fact that you have to look for them costing less shows how great of a deal the 295X2 is in comparison.

It's not all about finding the cheapest prices. What I want is an average. It's as simple as that ... 

Using anomalies to further your argument gets you nowhere seeing as how the rest of the customers don't get the same prices. Why don't you owe up to your mistake of "R9 295X2 costs the same as 780TI in SLI" seeing as how the asking price for a 780TI is usually $650 ? 

The 295X2 was the main competitor to the Titan Z, and by saying it didn't make "anything" look silly you are clearly defending it.

Multiple vendors selling multiple versions of the 780ti at sub $500 prices is not an anomaly.

My initial statement was you can buy two 780ti's for roughly the same price as a 295x2, and get the same performance and in many cases better performance.

Both parts of that statement are true.

you CAN buy two for the same or less than the 295x2
you WILL get comparable or better performance

Sure the Titan Z is a disaster but can we move on from that ? Hell most Nvidia fans don't even acknowledge it ... We get it that a Titan Z is a colassal failure compared to the R9 295X2. 

I called the 295x2 silly, because its price doesn't match it's performance, in doing so i consider the titan Z to be silly for the exact same reasons.

You can buy two 290X's for the same price as the 295x2 and *still* get comparable performance and not have to find a home for the closed loop cooler, and still have the functional option to run without crossfire for lower power consumption when the other card isnt needed, and have the backup of still having a usable card if one should fail, the same goes for running two 780ti's.

Both the 295x2 and Titan Z are stupid cards aimed at stupid people, you can try and force an opinion of me defending the titan Z but thus far the only person defending either of the two cards is you.
