Give me my GM200 GPU, NVIDIA! SLI in Feb if all is on and poppin'!

They did ... They just released the GM204.

No they didn't release GM200.  GM200 is the 980 Ti / Titan II.

What's the point ? I'm pretty sure you don't know how the die naming convention works ...

FYI Nvidia would name the die as "GM210", not "GM200". I see absolutely no evidence that Nvidia will be releasing such a product anytime soon on 28nm since they have no need to replace the GK110 as a new process node is on the horizon and that the GM204 is cheaper to produce while giving better performance at the same time.

Otherwise, I'd prefer NOT to buy a GTX 990 (dual-GPU), unless we're looking at something more akin to the 690, rather than that major letdown known as the Titan Z!

Oh it will be exactly like the 690.  AMD made a complete joke out of Nvidia with the 295X2 vs Titan Z.  They learn their lesson ;)

the 295x2 is stupid, it costs about the same as two 780ti's and in slower in most games and only marginally faster in the ones it beats the sli 780ti's in - something a minor OC would counter easilly. (or just a factory OC)

AMD aren't making a joke out of anyone.

Pretty sure that a 780TI starts at around $700 ...

The GM200 is a different line of cards, my friend. They just released the GM204 series. GM200 is either the Titan II, 990, or 980 Ti (the most unlikely of the three).

Rumor.

I always question WCCFTech's credibility ...

780 TI - 650$+

R9 295X2 - used to cost 1500$.  Now its available for 1000$.

But using the 1500$ for when it came out 2x 780 tis is 1300+

So, not sure what you are meaning.  Unless you are talking about the fact that they are QUITE a bit cheaper now.

I'm talking about the present, not the past ... Last time I checked at amazon and newegg, 780TI's were usually around $700, not $650. You can get a R9 295X2 for $1000 now like you said.

above prices are present, cheapest option is Zotac, for $860 for two, every single 295 x2 they have is $999, so you can have two 780ti superclocked in sli for $139 less, and have comparable/better performance in virtually all games.

LOL someone is biased here!  The 295X2 cost the same as 780 Ti SLI while offering more VRAM, better performance, and taking up half the room.  And before you say "120mm cooler" keep in mind that just about every case (Including ITX) has room for one.  But not every case has room for 2 cards.

Well, the rumor is the rumor, but what I said about the cards is true.

The rumor just points out that the GM200 card(s) are coming (and lately, WCCFTech has been spot on some of their stuff). They outted both the 290 and GM204 cards correctly.

WCCF has gotten a ton of things right in the past, and again yeah they said it was a rumor.

Dude just give it up.  Nobody is going to agree that the Titan Z wasn't a joke, and that the 295X2 wasn't at least a little impressive (Still is).
