I am glad they dont have them on VC.

Those games are meant to be played on the original system lol.

Really dumb comment. a lot of people don't bother with that. It's free money for companies.

Well they should. I have tried some N64 VC games on the Wii and they just don't feel the same with the classic controller. They were really designed for the N64 controller in mind.

A easier thing Nintendo could do is just release an adapter for all the controllers.

I don't know, why don't you go ask Nintendo? I bet they would gladly answer that question!

Not many people will have an N64/SNES/NEW controller lying around.

wasnt there a recent rumor of Gamecube games coming in 2015?

I agree, they need more games. They even have games only released in Japan that people here would want. Mainly, Final Fantasy 3/6.
The ironic thing is that you can go to the wii menu on the wii u and then download from a larger selection.

VC on WiiU. We've got NES, SNES and GBA games. Some very very good ones (Earthbound yay!), but not very strong overall in terms of numbers and variety of systems.

Yet it could be so much more. N64 games, where are they? Gamecube games. Even Wii games would be nice to have, those better Wii titles are getting hard to find in stores. DS games, Brain Age was a test but a few months on there's nothing further. And that's just Nintendo systems, what about others? VC on the Wii was a lot better, strong from the get go, and it included a lot more systems.

Does Nintendo think Virtual Console titles are taking away from indie games on the eshop? Is that even the case? The idea of a legal emulator was groundbreaking. On the WiiU, with it's playing games on the gamepad it's even better. So why isn't Nintendo taking the Virtual Console further but instead is taking it backwards?

Thank you for reading this, I now want to hear your voice. :)

I complained for years through blogs on 1up that Wii virtual console was being far too undersupported. At first they were releasing about 3 new games a week. That was acceptable. Then I watched in disgust as it went down to like one title a month. I wholeheartedly agree with your post and am glad to see someone else seeing the wasted potential. Whenever I see Nintendo announce a new virtual console game system to release games for, I just think "Well it will get about ten games, and then they will abandon it." So sad. :(

No, but it's a option. Just like how we can still use the GC controller now.

They could sure, but Nintendo doesn't do anything logical.

i.e releasing a super smash brothers 3ds XL model in a weeks time. Then a month later in Aus releaseding the new 3ds model.

You would think they would delay that model to make it the new version which has the NFC function built it, somehting that the game uses as a feature.
