Sprite wouldn't look better if they hired 1200 people for this.

They could try to go for 60fps animations but well, twice more work and i prefer to have twice more animation or twice as gorgeous animations.

I even told to estebxx I was thinking that she maybe could be a main character by how well made she is, but now with that picture with too of them I can see she is just a regular enemy... amazing!

This will bring exactly what the fanbase wanted without being able to express it : Zombie doujins !

More seriously i tought it was a main character too. Kinda disappointed but impressed and already thinking about building a nice and cute army of maid zombies =D

agree, i hope they use the extra power to get as much of the framerate as they can, but i think its safe to asume this will be a 1080P/60FPS game.

Maybe we can have a "special" one as a main character xD
It's sad that she is not one of the main characters, but she looks so good to be a regular character that it makes me happy too, the game art is still increasing xD
And that's a good idea hehehe, better if we can get easy level 9999 maid zombies like we could in Disgaea 2 with Nekomatas, xD


Weren't the nekomata 9 pack in disgaea 1 ? 

Also yeah the art is great-er in every episode, can't wait for the artbook (i hope it features original character design like 1 and 3 *_*)

It's normal for animation to be made at 25 images per second, as filmmaking was always in 25 images per second.

It's not about the refresh rate but about how many images they draw, and drawing 2 times more images takes a lot of time (even though they probably work with 2D animation software using skeletons and calculating in-betweens)

I really don't know what you mean by Nekomata 9 pack. Sorry

But in Disgaea 2 there was a stage filled with Nekomatas that would keep leveling up by geo effect until level 9999 if you let them (even faster if you keep fusing them after some time), then you only needed to have a decent party into the start panel and throw a level 9999 Nekomata there to be beaten and become yours, as they had ridiculous low life and equip from originally being low level enemies it was not necessary to have chars so strong to beat them there.
I had a lot of them xD and it was definitely in Disgaea 2.


I already forgot about that trick xD

The nekomata 9 pack was 3x3 pack or nekomatas while swords had a skill with a 3x3 AOE. So it was about one-shooting them, level up, raise their level, and to this again. Also nekomatas have a bad defense, so it was ideal. There was also the same in bonus stages with ennemies that had better defense but bigger xp rate.

Just bought D3 and D4 for my Vita to check out this series since it seems to be popular and I like good tactical games.

Maybe buying just one would have been more than enough for a start.

Any suggestions about which one to play first?

Thinking to maybe start with D4 unless they are strongly connected storywise or something
