In a strange move, Ubisoft’s watchdogsgame twitter account tweeted that WatchDogs on the Wii U won’t be supported with DLC and soon afterwards deleted the announcement. Naturally many took to twitter to express their disappointment with the decision. Soon after the tweet was deleted making Nintendo fans left wondering the accuracy of the tweet.

This is the first time any Ubisoft outlet communicated any information regarding the DLC situation of WatchDogs on the Wii U. If true this will continue the trend of third party developers not supporting their games on the Nintendo platform similarly to Assassin’s Creed 4 and Batman Arkham Origins.

No and No, why should the person be fired for such a small issue? It's not like it would have sold well on WiiU had it launched with the other versions. Now if it'd been PS4, or XB1 then yes.

Ubisoft said recently that they agreed with the

criticism towards Watchdogs. They could have started to show

good faith with the WiiU version. They fail again. They are hurting

their Watchdogs brand, and their own publishing brand for that matter.

Not a smart move.

They shouldn't be fired, but releasing the game six months late, with no DLC, in a crowded holiday season among four other Ubisoft games and several other holiday big hitters is a stupid move. If they wanted any Wii U owners to consider buying it the game should have released earlier. Would it be a multi-million selling smash hit on Wii U? No, but the game would sell better than it will now.
