Eh, nevermind. Misread big time. I should go back to sleep.
Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.

Why? The 360 never had any momentum in Japan and had an installed base below 1.2 million at the release of Bayonetta and it shared the title with the PS3, which sold over twice as many copies week one, it still beat the sequel on Wii U by 26k with the Wii U holding a 700k++ installed base advantage; that is a small disaster. The PS3 version, sharing release week with the 360, sold over three times as much as the Wii U sequel on an installed base that was exactly twice as big.
These are not good numbers for en exclusive that so many users have hyped into the skies and called a "megaton" for Nintendo.

huh?
HORRIFIC numbers for Bayonetta 2. As many have pointed out already, it has failed to even come close to the Xbox 360 version of the original... how sad is that.
This proves that the only people who buy Nintendo's consoles truly don't care about anything aside from Mario and his Super Smash bunch... Nintendo shouldn't even bother with games like these, and let other publishers take these games to other platforms where they will actually be successful, accessible and likely to spawn more sequels.
it also had 1 day less of sales than the first Bayonetta. Not a justification but numbers would be alittle bit higher
not good, i think.
japan-begin
Bayonetta (PS3) - 135.000
Bayonetta (Xbox360) - 64.000
Bayonetta 2 was released on the 20th. This is for the week 9/15 - 9/21. It was released for one day and still managed to take the 3rd spot.
Those numbers are very bad.
