Forums - Music Discussion - dam you taylor swift!!!!!!

I came across her new song, shake it off this morning and I can't get the dam song out of my head. I'm not really a fan of taylor swift, but I have to admit the song is just so dam catchy!!! I'm embarassed to say, that I kind of like the song. This is coming from some one that's into bands like rise against and korn and linkin park, godsmack. You know teenage angst rock songs, even though I'm 34,but the band members of most of those bands are older then me,so it evens out. So,have you ever had a guilty pleasure song in a genre of music that you were'nt a fan of otherwise. PS:how many grammar mistakes did I make,I want to give the grammar nazi's something to do.

I like that one she did with Ed Sheeran. Not much else though.

Also, I count a fair few grammar mistakes, remember to capitalise names and put a space after a comma and most will be gone. Oh and 'dam' is a barrier that stops water on a river, 'damn' is the one you want.

Hmm, pie.

You still haven't learn to make a space after a coma, for one. Coma is this thing: ,

So, it's like this.

NOT LIKE THIS,AT ALL.

First off she should drop all country music for pure pop.

Second off the song is catchy until you actually listen to all of the lyrics and then I just want to go back to not knowing them.

You know what? People said her new CD was not that good, but I really like that song.

Her new CD doesnt come out until the end of October so I don't know how they'd know that.

The song is too damn catchy. I'm not a fan of hers but she does know how to write a catchy song.  It's not the first song she's sang that gets caught in my head.

As for songs that I like despite not being a big fan of the genre, I would say "Something Bad" by Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood. I don't really like country that much but I like it for some reason.

Damn.. i hoped this was about the fappening..

I like Taylor Swift, so it doesn't bother me :)

Quite a few but that's not the problem. As far as I'm concerned the problem is the lack of effort. Instead of calling people"grammar nazi's", how about you use some paragraphs or proofread your posts, especially when creaing a thread? You have created tons of threads which lack both content and any attention to detail and come off as random thoughts that are put into simple words rather than something worth reading. You don' have to follow my advice. Just my two cents.

Now, OT: Hate the song and don't find it catchy at all. I made the mistake of listening to it once. Never again. And I'm not saying this as some kind of a snob. I listen to all kind of artists from Sum41 to Britney Spears to classical music. i don't believe in guilty pleasures. If I like the song, I'll listen to it without any feeling of shame (unless it's a Chris Brown song).

I like 'This War Is Ours' by Escape the Fate. And I'm not really a fan of songs with heavy screaming. Enough of the song is sung that I like it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8ajEyB1uoY
