Forums - Gaming Discussion - Watch Dogs' Mixed Reception Was Similar to Original Assassin's Creed's, Ubisoft Says

Typical Ubi. And they did sell lots of that game.

Personally, I liked WD way more than the original AC.

Well if 1 watch dogs will provider the fun of AC4.. I'll buy it day one... All these games being serious is just dull.. Watch dogs most fun part was the spidertank

Original AC was garbage. ACII was amazing. Then the series fell apart again. I highly doubt WDII will have an Ezio quality character and story. Those only come around so often.

Ubi is becoming french EA so I put little faith in anything they do anymore.

No, AC IV was brilliant even if they haven't hit the heights of AC II again and Unity looks amazing

But I totally agree with them, though I am not quite convinced that it had the hidden brilliance of AC I. I still haven't finished Watch_Dogs, not sure if I will. I don't expect WD 2 to even get close to AC II

No ACIV was fun because pirates but it had bland characters and story. Ubi Soft hates Native tribes why they have you outright murder them in IV. Why in ACIII He is given the name connor because he looks like a spanaird...you know people from spain who have white skin and blond hair. Made my Native best friend furious at these games how insulting they are. Unity is looking generic within the confines of it's own series.

It was fun, I thought the story was pretty good. When did I murder native tribes in AC IV? I was too busy murdering literally thousands of Spanish and British sailors

In what way is he blonde? The name Connor was given to him because it's better than  Ratonhnhaké:ton in colonial circles. So says the AC wikia, hence the weird formatting on his name http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Ratonhnhak%C3%A9:ton

Unity is looking more interesting with varied mission designs and possiblities along with great graphics and new traversal mechanics

No IN GAME STORY EXPLAINATION why he is given the name connor because they said he looks like a spanaird. Ubisoft thinks spanarid look like Natives when in reality they are people as white as the people here in Utah.

Need a picture. Ubisoft thinks THIS

Is the same as THIS

Ubisoft writers don't understand the people in spain DON'T look like Natives yet that is the in game story explaination why he is given the name. On top of that they way Connor was written was insulting. They are very ignorant at Ubi.

I can find a lot of Spanish people who aren't that white. He's also mixed race, part native and part white.

Connor was a boring character and fairly poorly written, but I certainly don't feel there was any intent

And this is definitely getting off topic

WD is a great game. Don't understand the complains.
