I like Smash Bros over everything in terms of fighting games so I guess for me, it will have to be, easy enough to get into for noobs while having enough mechanics so that the pros dont feel like their hard work is put into nothing when playing 1v1

I think you're losing your touch, man.  You were supposed to say, "Breast physics!"

To answer the question seriously, I love DOA's countering system.  It's just one feature but it's a feature that can completely change the dynamic of the game if it's done right.

ColdFire - The man with no name.

Speaking of systems. What is the right amout of them? Some fighters go overboard with them which is another reason I didnt get into BlazBlu

Just a couple of them, imo. Too many systems and players will be overwhelmed really, no matter how simple they are.

Balance and a feeling of skill. If your characters are overpowered or you can win just by pressing buttons you're playing a crappy fighter. Every character should be a threat in the hands of opponents of similar skill. And a seasoned vet should always win over a noob.

Balanced and good gameplay.

The best example in recent days: SFIV.

I like stage variety and items. Smash is the king of this. Injustice did it pretty good too.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

One thing I hate is when everybody uses the same character. I'm a huge Street Fighter fan. Have been since 1992 but I've actually sworn off using Ryu and Ken type characters simply because everybody else would only use them. I mean look at that roster!! Surely there is somebody else worth mastering. Even if I'm dominant with one character, I still change it up between battles. I'll take a loss using a character I'm weak with over a win spamming one or two guys.

To me tekken is king of fighters. Every fighter is different with their own set of combos and attributes. I like street fighter but every fighter has a down forward punch technique, it kinda gets abit tedious pulling of the same moves.

I think variety is key to a fighting game. Variety in stages, fighters and move sets.

How important is story in z fighting game to you all? Im not going lie, I enjoy the mthos behing King of Fighters, Mortal Kombat, Tekken ext
