Forums - General Discussion - Who's a veteran of this site?

So I have been on this site for over 7 years, I have just hit 2000 posts. Yes I work a lot and can't get on here all the time. However this site has been pretty great. I would like to take this time to thank ioi, the VGCHARTZ team for all the years of fun, Not only that but putting up with our sh-t. LOL

Us gamers, no matter what side your on, are not a easy crowd to keep tame, that's why we are gamers, we are very competitive, passionate and diverse.

Just remember with out the Console wars, this site would see a lot less traffic, so I hope all the big 3 stay engaged and competitive. Not only for this site but to push out better games, ideas and bring down the cost to us the consumers...

So here is to the gamers and all the people that make this happen. THANK YOU!

So since I just hit 2,000 posts, what should be my goal? Should I post more? make more threads? try to make it to 4,000 with out getting warned or worse banned???

What do you like Best about VGchartz? What would you like to see come back or go away?

Congrats! Although you definitely need to post more: I think spurge does more than that in any given week.

I think I am one; joined 09/09/09 five years man!!!

14 more posts and I'll hit 6000! woot!!!

I'm a disabled vet. Got shot in the balls during the Console Wars of '08.

Guess I count in terms of forum years. I've been here for 5 years, lurked for 2 years prior to that.

I'm actually more of a PC gamer which makes me a bit of an odd one on this site. I just find the console wars quite entertaining

i'm not sure if i am or not. I've be a member for nearly 3 and a half years and lurked for about two years before then, possibly longer.

I still remember the turn around the PS3 did in 2009 despite all the doom for it. How times have changed

Given the typical life span of a user on most forums, I think 3.5 years counts.

The goal is always to post more and post more threads.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I wouldn't worry. He has balls of steel!

@DJEVOLVE: Congrats man! And while you should post more, what really counts it's not the number of posts but how you contribute to the site.
