Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Would You Buy a Device that Increased the GamePad Reception's Range?

I would if it costs...

30$ or less 6 60.00%

35$ or less 1 10.00%

40$ or less 2 20.00%

45$ or less 0 0%

50$ or less 1 10.00%

GamePad's offscreen play is cool but its range reception isn't that great. Would you buy an accessory to increase that reception's range? If so, how much would you be willing to pay? I have no idea on how much this would cost so name any price except free lol

Sounds like a pruduct survey :P

I'm not interested in it but I would like to see the technology behind it.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Depends on the lag it adds..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

I would for the right price.

Yes. Give me some sort of signal booster that I plug in somewhere in the middle of my house or something.  I'd be willing to pay up to $20.

If I'm correct, It's a 5GHz connection between the GamePad and console. Many Wifi routers today can offer that speed.

That said, if the Wii U could identify your 5Ghz router and stream data throughout the network, potentially you could boost the signal to everywhere you have a stable 5Ghz wifi connection present in your home. No new hardware really needed.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Yes I would! Sometimes when I'm in the basement, the game pad loses reception which is really annoying.

The question is why wouldn't  I buy that device?
