i think that 72% number is about overall PS4 sales. meaning that 72% of overall PS4 sales are from the bundle. not 72% of Destiny sales are from the bundle

Here it sounds like 72% of the format is refering to 72% of Destiny sales on the PS4... because this format is the primary subject of the sentence... 72% of the format not 72% of PS4 sales.

Here it sounds like 72% of the format is refering to 72% of Destiny sales on the PS4... because this format is the primary subject of the sentence... 72% of the format not 72% of PS4 sales.

It means 72% of PS4 console sales were the bundle.

We know it the absolute minimum because we know that Destiny was the biggest launch for a new IP in the UK.  VGChartz shows that Watch_Dogs, the previous champion, sold 411k across all formats during launch, so, we know that if this site is correct, the first week of sales in UK could not have been below 411k.

If Destiny had a 78% drop across all formats then the very minimum it coiuld have sold would be:

28% of 411k or 90k.  It absolutely cannot be lower than that if we go by the UK data on this site.

cant be possible, if u look at the individual chart

if 72% of destiny sales are on ps4

 

the xbox one version and x360 cant be ahead of every other individual sku.

because we still konw destiny sold 90k for all formats.

that would leave just 25k for x1 + x360 + ps3

 

 

bana king is right. they often made similar statements.

like for the titanfall bundle...
