Literally everytime a game comes out and underperforms at least one person comes and makes this senseless excuse and it's literally proven wrong everytime.

Makes you wonder if it will ever stop.  It should be common sense that a new game is usually going to sell the most in the first two days of its release.  Unless it has great legs or supply issues, of course.

Sorry, but unfortunately no. 

Destiny (PS3) did 50k FW and Yokai was doing 47k (both versions), so it is very possible that this is sitting at 30k, or under. 
HyWa did 70k FW and needed 3 more weeks to close 100k. If this game follow suit, it will be at 50k by the end of the month.

 

Well, i will get it day one anyway. It looks great.

If people are saying Bayo is a bomb, just wait until Devil's Third comes out. Yakuza 1+2HD is going to look like a blockbuster in comparison.

Honestly though, he has every right to say whatever he wants about Bayo2 now. Everyone kept talking it up but he knew the truth, he knew it would flop. He warned them but none wanted to listen to his wisdom. And now its time to pay the price of ignoring the almighty Ryuzaki =P

Did people actually make fun of him for saying the game is gonna flop? 0_o 

I mean I knnow a lot of nintendo fans around the web were making fun of those fans of the original Bayo who were upset about the game not coming to PS/Xbox. But at the end of the day, Bayo is a niche title with a very small dedicated fanbase. Even that fanbase isn't strong enough to follow the game into a console they don't currently own or want to own in the future. It's a disaster in the making really, financially/sales wise at least

Games usually sell 80% (or something along those lines) of stock in it's first day.

Games usually sell 60-80% of its stock in the first week, but yeah. That line of thinking is right. With this type of game that won't get legs, you expect at least 80% sell through or it'll get massively discounted.

People made fun of him for being over dramatic and having arguably the biggest meltdown this site has ever seen, saying Platinum betrayed their fans and the hopes of the game flopping and blah blah blah.

People didn't make fun of him because he said the game was gonna flop, everyone with common sense already knew that.
