HyWa isn't even remotely in the same boat as those other two.

It does make you wonder, though.  Will this reflect poorly on Nintendo to potential 3rd parties to the extent that they might completely avoid the Wii U for the remainder of its life?

Very true. It still bombed however. I wasn't really trying to compare the 3. My point was that all of Nintendo's 2nd party titles on wiiU bombed in Japan which is kinda sad :/.

Looks like a bad start for bayo 2.

Well, we're already kinda seeing this. The only 3rd party support left for wiiU is shovelware (just dance), indies and 2nd party titles or exlusives that Nintendo is paying for (Sonic boom, Monster hunter). However, for the most part, 3rd parties are dead on wiiU other then a few exceptions here and there.

Not looking to good for Bayo 2. I guess all that's left is to hope it has as good of legs as Boyonetta does. And a strong western release.

Well, the first one was exceptionally front loaded, take that for what you will.

SAO makes is come back at TSUTAYA! nice legs!

Is it really legs when its likely selling <5k?

That's what all the Nintendo games sell that people brag on legs.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."
