Can't possibly be the PS4. We all know young adults in China don't care about the latest technology or about what's popular, and are completely oblivious to trending electronics and videogames around the world.

Is this sarcasm?  If not can who do you feel will benefit the most from China? And why?

At the moment it looks like MS will benefit the most.

If nintendo launches they will benefit most. That's only if they launch other than that its up to how microsoft markets themselves vs sony because sony probably will take it if microsoft doesn't go hard from the get go.

Chinese people?

If Nintendo releases the Wii U there, they will have locked China easily.

Monster Hunter is hugely popular in China, probably the most popular game after PC MMOs/SC/LoL.

And with the U having the cheaper price and established franchises through iQue, it should in theory benefit more.

Hmm, I put not enough info to speculate, but as far as I'm concerned, the answer is "not Microsoft". They'll benefit from it (at least more than they did from Japan) but it won't do much. Where as it'll make a serious difference for the other two. I'm expecting it to basically be a much larger Japan. Nintendo will have a strong presence, but so will Sony. There might be 1 mil XBO's sold throughout the gen, while Sony will sell several million, and Nintendo will probably not release the Wii U there at all. Instead, they'll release cheaper hardware, like the 3DS perhaps, and it'll do pretty well. It's really hard to gauge how Nintendo will do though, because they've said they don't think expensive hardware will sell there, which I take to mean they're not planning on releasing Wii U there, but I'm not sure what they'll do instead.

Nintendo :: trollface ::

The Chinese will bootleg all PS4 and XBone games, and even their accessories...! Hence both Sony and Microsoft will lose money...

Seriously though, according to Iwata, Nintendo feels it will not do well in China unless it releases something new and affordable...

Still awaiting for Iwata to get his head out his Ass and join the world.... <_<

Well yes I assume that Chinese people will benefit from China (via tax spending) but in lieu of going off of topic, can you pick a company, product or other option from the list provided.  This is a sales discussion on a sales website.  Your response adds nothing to the conversation nor does it attempt to be relevent, insightful, or conversational

I think if what Nintendo offers is decent then their tactic of releasing different hardware for emerging markets could be very wise. China is a different market to Japan/USA/EU, and the same methods won't necessarily work there.

Obviously it depends on just what Nintendo release over there (maybe a simple upscaling Wii).

Out of the PS4 and Xbox One, I think it'll be the PS4 that comes out on top. Although I don't think China will be as big a deal as people make out. This gen I think India will be the big emergent market.
