So, why do psn cards get so high in sales? Isn't it just easier to just give the needed funds instead of buying the psn cards and having money left over or am I just missing something?

I can buy a US PSN card but can't buy directly from PSN with my credit card since it's not American. It's probably due to lots of foreign people like me buying them.
