Hackers are starting to get involved with Mario Kart 8, but not necessarily in a negative way. Fans are now looking to create custom tracks in the game. In the video below, you’ll get a very early look at the “Incendia Castle” track.

It wouldn't really work the way track creators want it to, though. Look at the SSB Brawl stage editor for example. Hackers wouldn't be able to use custom textures and make a very customised track design.

I'm sure it's already happening. As long as there are obsessive jerks with no self esteem and/or social life, there will always be cheating in online games.
