Ive been doing alot of reading lately on some old threads from the summer time here, there was alot of debating going on that the WiiU can hold on to 2nd place and "huray WiiU is winning WW weekly against the XB1", I didnt get all the commotion at the time because the weekly wins were like 10k.  Neverless the WiiU was able to build up a almost 200k advantage WW against the XB1 from when MK released till end of Aug which spawn a multitude of threads from both sides.  Now the gap has closed and shifted to 30k in XB1 favour since MK8 released and will continue to grow throughout Sept.

This goes to show you that Xb1 has the power to erase things quickly they did it with their drm and always online, with their quick 180 last year, they did it again with their fast $100 price drop and drop of kinect, their doing it grabbing 3rd party exclusives and timed exclusives like TF and tomb raider and buying out entire game companys.  What this means now that 2nd place in there sights for grabbing this year the sky is there limit, it is possible with a few more quick right moves that they can start to go for first

Wii U have again much possible for be 2nd this gen.

I have ALWAYS said that XBOX ONE will sell more, but honestly, the gap between XBOX ONE and Wii U will be maximum 10,000,000, and for now i said 5,000,000.

And XOne not have possible for outsell Wii U this year.

Microsoft has done one thing that many will hesitate to do. They listened to consumers. It takes a lot of courage to admit your actions and roll back.

They're not even 2m apart now. That's like nothing if you look at this holiday and the coming year. I never understood the people who thought the Wii U would hold 2nd place until the end.

It would have been better if they didn't do the things that they did in their first place.

Yep I didn't understand all the hoopla either, Nintendo fans were all cocky during the summer now they're nowhere to be seen (not all Nintendo fans obviously)

yes all hail the virtuous MS!  I seem to recall a year of rumors about how Nextbox would be and the vitriol that every one generated.  They all turned out to be true.  Some of them MS repealed after they saw the solid sales coming back to bite them and then they waited another year to repeal Kinect.  So in short they don't care about consumers and it took little courage to reverse a policy when basically every single rumor and then fact about your box was generating negative press and they were getting destroyed in polls.

Still here. Super Smash will keep Wii U in 2nd forever this gen. Sorry. :)
