From the many changes in designs for some characters and the gameplay it has indeed come a long way. It has been a long time coming. 

Personally I like Prompto's 2008-2013 design better. But damn that in game and CGI overall has been killer. I thought the 2008/2011 videos of the graphics/gameplay looked great but this is just amazing. 

But anyways the gameplay. It looks faster in the past versions. Whos to say it wont play like this as we level up? Truly we do not know but I do hope it does. Thats the KH team's formula. I for one believe it will play like this and get faster as we progress through the game. It just makes sense. 

Also the many characters have had changes in their designs and hair length numerous times. Whats your favorite designs? Do you think more changes will be made before the demo? the release? lol

The game sure has come a long way, hopefully its been worth it.

I hope the game was worth the long wait.

8 yeas to late to keep me hyped. I will still play it regardless.

I've seen the light. I'm hyped.

Then dont be hyped. Keep your expectations low and you wont get disappointed. I did this with Tales Of Graces F after I played Symphonia. I didnt like it at first but then I loved it for what it was. I kept comparing it to Symphonia every chance I got. Once I stopped that I put in over 200 hours into it. 

Over all those years I have never lost excitement, and I have never missed even the smallest of updates, I know exactly what Nomura vision is / was and I really like it. My excitement has never been about empty hype and high expectations, I'm just well informed about every little detail of the project.

The game has certainly come a long way.
