Forums - Sony Discussion - Graphic Customization in VizionEck

Tagged games:

Gamers are used to graphic filters such as greyscale in their games, but VizionEck takes this concept to the next level (I say "to the next level" way too much).

Here's an image showing the standard VizionEck graphics, and then 7 alternative "skins" the game supports.

Also check the tagged game! Yes it's really cool to see it there!

The 2nd on the right would confuse the shit out of me

I like 3rd down on the left!

When does your game come out, and approx price point (understand if you can't tell us that yet)?

Edit: LOCAL SPLITSCREEN! THANK YOU!

Yeah that one turns every black surface into a mirror.

The announced release is "Holiday 2014" but I've all but decided that I need a delay in order to give the SP more polish.

Price I'm looking at is $20, and then free DLC.

LOCAL SPLITSCREEN!!!

Oooh Split Screen!

I wouldn't say they took it too far.

I mean, I've been playing Metroid Prime a lot recently (first playthrough), so I'm really used to this sort of thing with the different visors and whatnot. It's just lacking the "normal" mode though

Edit: oh, it wasn't you saying they took it too far. Never mind.

I/me/JoeTheBro=they

Also something I've thought about doing as free DLC would be a skin that is "normal" mode hahaha. Make it look like a gritty shooter.

You should also try an AO based skin (similar to the unfinished swan) with the coloured lines glowing like lights (like the bottom left image).

Thanks for the suggestion. I love the unfinished swan but which part are you referring to specifically?

The parts where it uses greay tones to bring visual context to the environment, rather than all the white molding into 1 blob. Like this:

I haven't the foggiest what you'd need to do to make it happen, but it looked nice in my head Figured i'd suggest it.

looks awesome. green, grey, glow, reflection, think lines, thick lines, swirliness! VizionEck got it all bro!
