okay does anyone have a spare windows 8.1 product key, as i was fixing a girls laptop that i like but her pc had windows 8 so i only had a pro 64 8.1 disk and i need it to work properly. i got a serial key of the net but that does not work. ill give control for a week to my account. plus ill owe ya.

Question, are you at University, or have a family member who's there? Because Microsoft has a program on which they give Win 8.1 for free to students. Sign up for it.

So basically you are asking for piracy? Does that really seem like a good idea? Way I see it you have 2 options. 1. buy it, or 2. go where other pirates go to get a cracked version or a key. I would suggest ya just spend the money, especially if ya like the girl.

it is piracy because you are asking for someone elses code... Last I checkd 1 code came with one disc..No extras. It doesn't matter how much you spend on it. If you have a code for 8 then install 8, what you are doing is asking for someone elses legit code(in the wrong section btw wtf does this have to do with gaming?)..which is piracy... not that it would likely even work since many times the codes are locked to the disc..ya know to prevent piracy.

the activation processes is now built into the bios on all laptops now running 8, just use the correct version and it should activate itself if the laptop came with 8
