Facts... and you can compare with others FPS games.

+ 22 Story mission

+ 6 Strikes

+ 4 Patrols (90% of the map not covered by missions)

+ 12 MP maps

+ 5 MP modes

+ 2 (or more) hidden missions for Exotic Bounties

+ 1 Raid

i'm being objective here... show me games with more content please.

lol at the part you use 4 games content to compare with Destiny... all old content... nothing new because you know it is a remaster collection.

I've played story missions, patrol mission, and strikes. You absolutely touch on the same areas between them all.

The story missions are garbage, the patrols are just for grinding, and strike missions is the only notable content  in co-op.

I'm not arguing Destiny has too little content. I'm arguing the amount of content boasted about is misleading. Also, a lot of the content is rushed garbage. A lot of content isn't worth boasting about if its genuinely bad content.

Again, you basically experience the whole game in about 8 - 10 hours. Even less if you level up your character in patrols before playing missions.

You're spewing numbers. But ignoring how much time it actually takes to play all that crap. Most of the time you spent with that game is playing the same missions over and over. You stretched a few hours of content into many hours of grinding.

8-10 hous you don't experience 10% of the game.

And you are missing the best experience ever created by Bungie... Raid alone is something better than anything Bungie created until today... VoG is close to the size of the Moon to explore... that is why gamers just gound the 5th chest now, almost one month after release... I'm sure there are hidden secrets there yet.

VoG is the best game mode/design ever created by Bungie.

if they can do unique and new experiences like that each 3 months then the game will became the biggest thing of this generation... a gamer changer.

In 8-10 hours you experience the actual content of Destiny. What keeps you playing the same content over and over is loot lust.

Again, when I'm playing Skyrim for a 100 hours I'm exploring new areas and uncovering many stories. That's what I consider actual content.

It seems you may agree with me about the population thing. They need to add significant content to maintain or even have the population grow. If they keep adding content that feels the same or cost money, the population will dwindle.

It is not hard to understand that.

You missed the biggest thing in the game that is the Raid.

And I don't agree the population will become huge this holidays... one Raid each 3 months is what is planned already.

Oh, you presume everyone wants to play raids. I feel you're out of touch what the average player wants from Destiny.

Raids are more of the same, add little value. Will do little to help the population grow.

It seems someone hasn´t played Halo Reach or Halo 4... So, I understand why you got so blow away by Destiny.

Most of my Halo friends have left the game in less than 3 weeks.

They are not the kind of people who like griding, and griding and griding...

You can't be serious lol

How do you jump conclusions OMG!!!

People here knows I played all main Halos and liked than since 2007... Halo 3 is even in my top TOP20 list of the best game I played in my life.

So basically... this thread was dug up to confirm that Destiny has no meaningful statistics to show after its launch! And so that people could argue some more over nothing!

Yay!
