No what would happen is if they released MCC to PC. And Halo 5 is never put on PC till 3 years later. That's how you sell the most Xbox's. Then get the PC people who won't get a Xbox.

Aaron Greenberg also said that it isnt very likely for any mainline halo game to be on PC again.  This was what, just like a month ago.

Then you also have Frankie who works at 343i dismiss it as well by saying "Well i better start coding on PC then" sarcastically towards the PC rumor. Also not long ago.

When i hear it isnt out of the question that basically tells me that it isnt in the works right now. MAybe sometime in the future.  Whether that be in the near future or 10 years from now, who knows.  From multiple comments in the last year it appears it isnt being made right now as theyre forcusing on XBO and then likely to be shifting the majority of that focus straight onto Halo 5.

I dont think MSFT will ever dismiss halo being on PC because there is always the future and MSFT is a PC Company as well.  YOu never know.  But if youre wanting it in the next 12 months then prob not going to happen.  I wont guarantee it, but from comments from devs and heads, it isnt likely.

But this topic will come up over and over no doubt.  I guess its just how you yourself want to look at it.  If you want to wait it out and see, then you can.  PC has been waiting for Halo 3 for 7 years.

They want the Xbox One to close the gap with the PS4. They'll need Halo. So that's not really surprising, even though these are remastered editions, it'll sell well.

I wish I had a Xbox One :(

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.

Steam release please.

That version of Halo definitely won't close any gap with the PS4. Halo 5 will see a tremendous boost for sure though. That game there may tie things up in North America/U.S.

You know, at one point they released Halo on Mac and even (gasp!) the PS2.

If X1 is troubled enough, they'll bring Halo MCC and Halo 5 to PC

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

It's fairly obvious that all MS's recent moves indicate no more true XOne exclusives, as they are increasingly focused on other platforms.
Halo MCC will surely come to PC in about 9 months, as it is customary now.

MS shouldn't have said that.... They should have just put their foot down and say Halo: MCC is Xbox One-only. The last thing you want to do is inadvertently convince people to wait for the PC version to come out, especially after what we saw with Ryse and Dead Rising 3.

Yeah but, how many people will be playing it by the time it drops for PC? That's why I would get the console game at launch if I were going to get it. With games like this, online community is the life blood of Halo games. When they dry up, the game does the same imo.

As a person who has never owned an Xbox but isn't a biased fanboy and feels a desire to own one of their consoles to catch up on the exclusives this is a really big discouragement from thinking about Xbone. I know that what I really want to play on an X360 are Halos, GeoW (loved the 1st part on my PC), Alan Wake and the 2-3 exclusive jRPGs, maybe also Fable. After they decided to port Halos to Xbone, I've decided I'm waiting for news about the 4 GeoWs being ported over and I can forget about being a late adopter of X360 and go with Xbone instead (it's not like X360 is much cheaper at this point anyway).

But...

MS porting every single exclusive to the PC is a twist again. So you're saying I can play all these games I'm interested in without paying for the console and not bothering to paying for Live? That is actually awesome and is a big reason for someone who sees the MS console as the 3rd option to skip it and go with PC versions instead.

Just my point of view

BTW. If they care about sales and getting people aware about the franchise, they should port it to PS4

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.
