better advertsising, more games, etc.

Im betting on november but if it doesnt pass it by then then I would be dissapointed

we are expecting the xb1 to be like ps4 the same way nintendo fans are expecting the wiiu to magically start selling well once there exclusive SW hits or PC happens were expecting this b/c this is what happened last gen

last gen wii sales increased alot when MK Smash ect came out and they had large legs but it wasnt b/c the games or value and its proof from GC sales and again with WiiU this gen this is why most nintendo fans are clinging on to how the original wii got boosts from its exclusives SW and holiday season thinking the WiiU will do the same

 

last gen 360 was selling on par and better then the ps3 they both had the same amount of 3rd party support and imo there exclusives were evenly matched

this gen its still the same Xb1 is getting the same 3rd party support bar a couple of indie titles there prices are also now the same but theres obviously a shift that certainly happen it can even be seen on meta last gen 360 would get the first and most reviews now the ps4 is getting em also most 3rd party games are being shown off on PS4 HW

 

so even though the xb1 is closing the gap and will pass the wiiu very soon the gap is widening in many other areas with its main competition sony and there PS4

But what has that got to do with anything? That isn't what the thread is about, and the gap will continue to widen. I know you want it to be a talking point BHR but it isn't and won't be when the conclusion is already met. Talking about XB1 vs PS4 sales is boring because the outcome has already been met and will continue that way.

Just like when XB1 overtakes WiiU (and won't look back) the only comparisons we'll see are regional, and even those will likely be set in stone soon (PS4 vs WiiU in Japan, XB1 vs PS4 in US) are the only two that will last beyond 2 years.

I was thinking I would get a classic X1 versus PS4 with some kind strange numbers to justify... but toastie really moved own and accepted X1 have no way to beat PS4 (probably even in America now Toastie?).

And on your prediction, altough I find it optmistic (and vgc numbers will be corrected, but could be even greater numbers for X1 and worst for WiiU for all we know) I quite agree with it... I believe X1 can pass WiiU, but am more inclined to a statistical tie, they will be really close at the end of the year... LT X1 1.5 or 2 to 1.
