Is it really Destiny? Or the fact you could get an Xbox One and three games, due to the promotions for the same price as a PS4 + Destiny. The fact it wasn't closer in the Uk with that in mind should be worrying. Without a doubt though the spike was as much to do with the deals as it was for Destiny, so Mythunbusted for me.

This thread feels very odd. I don't think the debate was ever in that X1 would never see more consoles released on a multiplat release, but that PS4's boost would always drastically overshadow the X1 boost. The first post seems to be very defensive about something that I've never even seen argued. That, along with the single-option poll makes me wonder if the OP is trying to troll on purpose, but I sense that he's not, and I'm left feeling uncomfortably confused by this thread...

The boost in US and UK is more due to the insane deals rather than Destiny. XB1 should sell well if they keep the deals up, although they won't like the losses they cause.
