The poll is not " what do you wish" guys =p

What is a poll supposed to be based on if not opinion?

Opinion can be based on reason, reason =/= wishes.

It's a matter of common sense for anyone who have a decent analysis on japan market and good knowledge about games coming.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

PS4 will sell poorly but still wipe the floor with the Wii U.

That Wii U software lineup is terrifying. We could have a year with less than 10 retail releases and none of which are likely to sell more than 500k.

What kind of sorcery is getting people to believe that Wii U will outsell PS4 in Japan during 2015? I could already count at least a baker's dozen of games that will give sizeable boosts to the PS4 in the lineup.

The ones that I keep bolded are games that I believe will give a sizeable boost to Wii U.

Xenoblade Chronicles sold less than 200k in Japan, according to VGChartz.

Wii U:

Q1: Smash Bros Momentum!

TBA:
Mario Maker,
Yoshi Wolly World,
Mario Party 8,
Devils 3rd,
Xenoblade chronicles X,
Splatoon,
Pokken Fighter (likely),
The Legend of Zelda,
Star Fox

You're being incredibly generous to Zelda there. It's been a long time since the series was relevant in Japan. For comparison sake, the 3DS game is around 400k LTD. Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword didn't hit 1 million between them on the Wii's massive install base.

Bloodborne, FF Type 0 (with FFXV demo) and Disgae vs. nothing in Q1. The PS4 is gonna start the year much stronger and I think it'll end up outselling the Wii U for the year.

If FFXV and MGSV both release in 2015, I think it's a lock.

MGS is confirmed for 2015 and I'd be surprised if XV didn't see 2015 japanese release as it was confirmed that the demo would be released in march (not just a demo code)

Wii U is winning now but no one is willing to back up their opinion?

It's sizeable compared to others on the list. Though, yes, Zelda isn't as big as it used to be in Japan.

I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

:3

Destiny boosted PS4 sales in Japan to 23k despite also being available on PS3 which has a massive install base.

Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors despite being huge Wii U exclusives boosted hardware sales to 18k.

Now, lets not consider XB1 since it has a very small install base in Japan. So we can consider FF Type-0 HD as PS4 exclusive in Japan. Now the original released in 2011 so its bound to hurt some sales. However the new one looks like a huge improvement over it and it shall easily sell more PS4's than a cross-gen multiplat new FPS IP like Destiny.
Bloodborne will sell to the Souls fanbase, around 300k of which are in Japan. Many of them are likely not to have a PS4 yet so will buy one for this game.
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will sell many PS4's as well in Japan as it also has a special edition. On top of these games consider all the other multiplats and exclusives on PS4 releasing in 2015 and it all points to it selling better than Wii U.

You're missing quite a lot : Senran Kagura Estival Versus (Q1), Hyperdimension Neptune V-II (TBA), Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force (TBA), BF Hardline (TBA), God Eater 2 Rage Burst (TBA), Dead or Alive 5 Last Round (TBA), BladeStorm (TBA), Let it Die (TBA)

Thanks, updated it with some of those titles :)

Why would you add only "some"? A pollster shouldn't be biaised. Thank you to add the above titles as well.

given the tv coverage of morpheus here these past few days, i'd say PS4.
