Wow, a lot of people don't seem to realize that mods exist on PC. No matter how godawful the port is, modders will figure out a way to make it insanely good.

Not too long. GTA IV (one of the crappiest ports of all time) was modded relatively soon. It really depends on how open SE makes the game open to modding, but it can range anywhere from the first month to a few months (2-4) after the game comes out.

They said that the PC version is pretty much just the console version. No improvements. It is the 100% the exact same thing only on your PC.

Pity there are no improvements. If they improved stuff, we could start thinking about a FF XIII Trilogy HD on PS4/Xbone 
Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!
