Lol.. You should read the entire thread.. We aren't even at the dating point.. Heck man.. We have trouble getting Mr Kahn having a coffee (or waffles) with a girl..  He tries.. We push him to try.. He doesn't always listens to us but thats ok.. At this point every experience in this dance called love is good for him..

And my social life has improved vastly since i got away from the gas station job (GetGo, hatmoza would remember who they are). It's mostly school social functions, but it gets me out at least once every other week, which is quite superior to any other time in my life thus far. Last weekend i went to a chinese hotpot restaurant and sat next to a hot Thai girl, and then the next day went to a bar trivia fundraiser.

The issue is connecting one to the other. The people i hang with generally are great people, but don't share a lot of my hobbies and whatnot. Thus it's harder to make a deep connection with them, which includes the many lovely (both in looks and personality) ladies who are part of my social sphere. To put it bluntly, i need to meet girls who are, if not actual nerds, then at least knowledgeable enough about video games and animation and such that we could talk about it once in a while. I'm far from a one-note guy in terms of being able to carry on a conversation, but i shouldn't have to bury my inner nerd forever, right?

With this new girl, even if she's not interested in me, it's still worth pursuing because she could possibly connect me to her social circle, who *would* share a lot of my interests.

Then this is Dejavu... back in 2010... I rather not say the user. He was so stubborn!

Nothing to say so far. I'm conversing and finding stuff out. She will be out of the country in June, works for a local film production company doing a football movie in Wales.

Seems pretty neat. There's some sort of comics convention going on in town next weekend, i'll enquire about her plans.
