Go insane! Ask her for a real date.. Maybe she takes lunch for granted with you...there isn't any reason not to ask her.. If she already turned you down in silence it doesn't matter of she does it again.. You'll need to close it this way.. Cause with this there is always doubt... Which will haunt you and us..

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

That's true. I've been burning through the giftcard that i was going to use for lunch (Starbucks), but i have another, larger card for a nice restaurant still. If i won't spend it on her, i'll have to find somebody else (friendly dinner, romantic date, whatever), 'cuz i've got to dispose of it somehow

so is anyone else gonna comment on the giftcard business or should i?

Hey, i'm a graduate student. I don't have money to be takin' girls out on my own dime. Plus they're gift cards to places i wouldn't normally go to without some other reason (i don't drink at starbucks. Today was my first time ever in one, to break in that gift card)

basicly what i would do is try and see if you can sell/trade that gift card for normal cash
bitches dont like be taking on dates with giftcards

That would be more possible. The trouble is that such exchanges tend to fall into the grey market around here. It's not a bad idea, but the question is how.

Ironically, the Starbucks card would be easier to trade, since a lot of people go there and it's for a trivial amount.

Wow, this thread was really entertaining to read! Mr Khan just go ahead and ask her out again but with confidence. It seems like you're obsessed with her. Don't feel bad if she says no. If she's Asian, maybe she comes from a conservative family and isnt interested in a boyfriend. She might even be engaged. You never know with Asian people! And at least you won't have any regrets and you'll get some good practice at asking people on dates- a skill which will always come in handy .

If you listen closely you can hear Mr Kahn breathing while he's hiding from the girl... >_> ...
