Just in case you don't realize it, Microsoft is pushing Windows tablets, like the Surface Pro 3.

And, a certain recently revealed Xperia tablet can do the same!

The problem is most xbox games are already available on PC.
The reason why Vita streaming was a big deal was because of all the games of significantly higher quality you could be able to play on vita compared to the games specifically made for the vita.

Don't get the point of this, then again I don't get the point of Remote Play on Vita so eh.

have you heard of those new fangled things called tablets, smart tv's and phones?  Some of which are windows enabled.

 

nope, don't know what those are. I use a potato to do my internet stuff.

Why stream ps4 games to Vita when you have a ps4?


Because vita is more portable than a homeconsole or a pc


i would die to stream fps on ps beacuse i like mouse / keyboard so much more

 

 

the big diffence here is ps stream = u dont need the device, but it cost money

ms stream = u need the device and it cost no money

While i agree ; I do think many are not looking at this very clearly, that this is infact very usefull function. That laptops can really benefit quite a lot from this. On the same Token Sonys streaming technology is not just limited to only the playstation Vita, and you know d@mn well thats true.

so you are confusing this with Playstation now too?

this isnt cloud streaming. its the comparison of streeaming from the ps4 or xbox one.

No, im not confusing this with Playstation Now, you think the technology remote play is limited to just the playstation Vita?

Because it is in no way shape or form restricted to just be only able to stream only to the plsystation vita only. And trying to imply that it is is downright spreading FUD

And those service's are still not limited to Sony only made Hardware. So again you just implied in effect its only applied to Sony only hardware which its not the case for all of Sony playstation Services. For instance the playstation App can msg to Ps3 users without the need of having a playststion hardware at all. Which also game support purchase again can be made through that app. Without needing any playstation hardware. The fact that playstation mobile sdk 1.0 still supports android for development which can be used without even needing again a non playstation hardware from such functionality. Does not mean Sony is excluding or not working on such functionality themselves.
