Both the Wii U and Xbox One will win some weeks this holiday season (well actually, the 3DS or the PS4 will win). Which of those two consoles will win overall this Holiday season (November though December) will probably be the XOne.

The Wii U will still be in head for lifetime sales though.

What kind of people are waiting for Toad?

I know I'm looking forward to Smash for my Wii U but I don't know anybody talking about getting a new Wii U even for Smash, and as for Toad well my 7 y/o wants it.

XB1 will outsell Wii U over the holidays, i just hope Wii U could hit around 10 million by then. I think all three will have good holiday sales tbh.

Im quite looking forward to captain toad and im 30 years older than your kid lol. Its something that is a little different and knowing Nintendo, there will be a devilishly difficult game behind the cute exterior.

I think there is a possibility but the probability is slightly in XB1's favour. The level of confidence on display in the comments is only buoyed by the Destiny bump, a game backed by an insane amount of hype and marketing dollars.

If we look at respective sales from a few weeks ago and assume that they are 'baseline' and the fact that historically Nintendo gets a relatively bigger hardware boost during the holidays I say the possibility remains. I say it's up to Nintendo's marketing, if they come to the party then things could get interesting.

Microsoft will sell More Xbox...

Nintendo will make more money... Because they will make a lot of profit from their 3Ds, Wii Us software that will sells a lot way more than Xbox Own IPs.

So for a short term the Holidays will be far better for Nintendo, but Microsoft will expand its installed base, which is better for long term.

And Freakin Microsoft doesn't need that much money from the Xbox Brand, any profit its just a Bonus.

is it can do really well with smash, that music game with legs, and toad they have a chance for great japan sales that can beat xbox
