while i do get a sick sense of fun from watching threads of terrible predictions based on nothing but wish fulfillment and fanboy nonsense get bumped. It is almost a moot point becasue most of the guys who make such nonsense predictions dont even stick around to eat their crow anyway. Cant remember the last time ive seen Selnor.

There are already a lot of PC mods that make Minecraft look like a "Minecraft 2". Long story short, there really is no point of making a Minecraft 2. You're talking about trying to convince several 10's of millions of people who are very satifisfied with Minecraft 1.


A Minecraft 2 would sell on PC and outside of PC. Microsoft isn't stupid. Their most successful most profitable IP and Devices outside of the Xbox and Xbox Live itself were purchased. 10's of millions of people also bought multiple iterations of Assassins Creed and Call of Duty. Microsoft only purchases what they think will sell, which is why their strongest fleet is basically composed of a handful of IP's.


I think if sony can bring Everquest next landmark on ps4, its the end of minecraft ^^ this game become amazing and there is no way i look back when its out on pc or with luck on ps4 ^^

Wait...you really think Everquest would knock off Minecraft on consoles? LOL....wow...this is exactly why market research exists. It takes a truly social person to see outside of their inner circle. If they cannot make it (which is almost always) they buy it. Microsoft doesn't care about whats deep, they care about whats popular and if you have the money, it works. Everquest is a great franchise, but leave that to the dedicated who have been playing that for years. If its destriny is to come more power to Sony with those groups, but no one will be shouting about it on consoles.

No, I don't think "just about every Xbox fan" cared if Xbox One outsold the PS4.

Its not about Sony going for the win. If Microsoft and Sony launch at the same time Sony generally has the ball in their court due to world perception of their gaming brand. Microsoft didnt come into this industry to be second best to Sony.

I expect Microsoft will be happy with it as long as they make money, don't know if they are yet, but they could be so...

Regardless of what MS think, I'm happy because both the PS4 and Xbox One are above the Wii U

I'm glad, i'm just trying to clarify their intentions. I have a One myself, but I don't trust them as far as i can throw them. Its all about the games. Hope KI2 season 2 turns out well. ;)
