At the end he said "See you at the Tokyo Games Show". So .. more to come?

We've had :

(1)- Pre-TGS presser a while back.
(2)- This SCEAJ conference for non-Japan Asian sector

and then ..

(3)- Real TGS event?

No, this is it. The show floor with consoles to play demos and stuff. That is what he meant.

Hmm if so, that's damned strange. What is the point of the TGS if they don't actually announce anything at the actual conference? Why have a pre-show way ahead of it, and then a non-Japan show the day before, and nothing to show at the actual show? It's just bizarre to me. It would be like if there was a lame pre-show for E3 two weeks in advance held in Seattle, then the day before E3 a show about Mexico and Canada markets shown from Florida, and then absolutely NOTHING at E3 itself other than playable demos of previously announced titles?

thats because TGS is not a conference... its an event in which people get to try out the stuff that was announced at the Pre TGS...

EDIT: OPS SORRY i thought it was another user and i already told you so... SORRY!.

Talk about being generous.

This taught me to never watch a TGS again. Simply read about it in the morning. Too late at night, for so little.

Agreed. Even with the pre-TGS press conference it was not enough to justify staying up late and watching it.

Very true... will be doing that next time. Think I'll just stick to watching E3 and maybe Gamescom. lol

Same here, never watching TGS again. Gamescom is meh, and E3 is the only interesting one of the 3 really.

Gamescom was maybe better than E3 this year, and the pre-TGS show was pretty good !

This event was misunderstood, I don't think it was made for new announcements, or even for western audience...

I usually watch TGS for Final Fantasy and anything from From software or Sony Japan. Almost nothing other than those appeals to me, most games don't get localized anyways.

But where the hell was The Last Guardian ?

Yeah the Pre TGS even was great, but the show that we just watched was horrible. I don't know about Gamescom being better than E3 though, what was announced that made Gamescom so great again?

Wild, Until Dawn, Tearaway, The Tomorrow Children, Silent Hills, Hellblade, and others... Not a lot of megatons, but a good conference.

Well what exactly were you expecting? Their TGS conference with all the announcements already happened. This was always going to be nothing more than regurgitation of the announcements for other Asian markets like China. Not a single Sony exec was hyping the conference. Nobody said anything about new games being announced. This conference was for Chinese people, not us.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

The Japan pre-TGS was way better, this one was just to tell people that the games were to be coming in Chinese, lol.
Pre-TGS was as good as Gamescom and E3 (in their respective levels).
So just avoid SCEJA conference, not TGS.
We got Persona 5 to PS4, Disgaea 5, Ys 8, DQ Heroes, God Eater 2, and a lot of other new cool stuff at pre-TGS.

Pretty  much. Really looking forward to Persona 5. Convinced me to buy a PS4 when it comes out here.

Well someone told me there might be 2 new games announced, that aside the conference was extremely boring and felt like it dragged on and we didn't even get a date for a China launch. Horrible conference in general IMO
