3DS pulled me back into gaming.

The DS and Wii were just there for me, to be honest. It was fun to play them, sure, but they're not really...dear to me

I should have said "handheld console." 2014 still ruined it's overall status for me.

Yes. The DS had Resident Evil: Deasly Silence and Pokémon HeartGold.

3DS is a natural evolution of the Nintendo DS. It's obviously better then the DS. It's like comparing the WiiU to the Wii, WiiU is better.

All of Nintendo DS can be played on 3DS.

I enjoy my 3DS, I just hate that its main feature 3D is something I normally always turn off since it's not practical to use. How much of the cost of 3DS is for the 3D features that could of been saved since the device doesn't need 3D. 

I'm still excited with the new 3DS and and willing to give nintendo another chance to prove that 3D can be amazing.

2014 has been a dud for all consoles not only 3DS. Therefore 3DS can be forgiven for the bad year.

I think 2014 has been pretty good so far...

Mario Golf & Bravely default being the highlight so far.

Persona Q and Super Smash bros this holiday season.

Shovel Knight, Professor Layton vs Phoenix wright, Tomodochi Life to keep you entertain in between major release.

No.  Not even a massive fan of PS2 but in terms of game selection Gamecube may as well be 3d0 in comparison to PS2. You can personal faves all you like but the fact is for game selection PS2 outclassed them all. DS outclasses them all and I prefered my PSP to DS but DS was still the best. I prefer my Dreamcast to my PS2 but PS2 still outclassed it for game selection.

PS2 may have had quantity, but GC had quality.

DS is undoubtedly a superior and more complete system. 3DS is a perfect system for Nintendo fans, except for this, little reason to buy one.

It's like comparing PS3 to PS4. If your gonna judge it solely on games, PS3 would be the better console by a Landslide.


Maybe, but 3DS releases are slowing down, not speeding up as they did with the DS (remembering everyone assumed the PSP was going to wipe the floor with it back in 2004 inc a lot of developers). 

There's barely been anything in 2014 I've wanted on 3DS, that last must buy release for me was Luigi's Mansion 2. 2012/early 2013 were it's highlights for me.
