So I went and pre ordered my Amiibo's today at Gamestop because yesterday I noticed that some are now unavailable.

Amazon.ca right now is out of stock on 5/12 Amiibo's (Samus/Marth/Fox/Villager/Wii Fit Trainer)

Amazon.com right now is out of stock on 3/12 Amiibo's (Marth/Villager/Wii Fit Trainer)

Gamestop still has them all available for pre order but I'd act now if you are seriously considering getting these just to be on the safe side

I don't think there will really be stock issues. Seems like something that should be fairly easy to scale up production.

However, I do feel certain once Smash Wii U drops, the Wii U will be in short supply until January 2015

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

It's a good thing I'm not interested in Amiibos Nintendo should announce some bundles (like 2 for $20 and stuff) once they restock/make another direct.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

why should anybody worry about getting them now? do you need that many AI bots in your smash bros game? Plus, I'm 100% positive that the figures currently "sold out" on amazon will have more stock before they are even released. No reason to hurry... or bother preordering them at all...
