Do you hate the Wii U, do you like that Wii U? I don't care if you want to burn it or love it to death, but I think we can all agree articles with titles like "Wii U comeback" or "Can this game save the Wii U" or worst of all "Nintendo is over"

Look, these articles about doom and gloom Wii U numbers don't annoy me because I like the Wii U, It annoys me because I HAVE HEARD THIS NEWS SO MANY TIMES FOR A YEAR AND A HALF! We get it, It is not living up to its potential, we get that It is making a comback, we get all of this! We truly do. But this "news" comes in my youtube feed or shows up in the forums like twice a week. If I see that title in any media article or video again, I am gonna lose it. PLEASE, all the articles have been done to death, we know everything now, stop saying it over and over again. Thank you.

Those articles are click baits and people fall for it. People should ignore it.

I wouldn't get your hopes up, you're going to be hearing Nintendoom at least until 9th gen, or whenever Nintendo makes another highly successful console.

I'm mad about this kind of thing every day. The same threads on every subject, over and over and over again. If it's not just some kid wanting more points for his profile or whatever, it's obvious trolling and clickbait. It's just awful, all the time.

But I have to remind myself that this is just the way this site is. Then I have to ask myself why I keep coming back. And I never have a clue what to say to that.

Pretty much this. I hope the unified OS/architecture plans Iwata has for next gen work out because I don't want to hear Nintendoomed for another 5-6 years again. Heck, Pachter will probably continue to cry Nintendoomed even if they're successful...

Yes, but some people just can't help falling for it, and many others love doing it (and those that hate them but just can't refrain from posting of them are often part of the fun), so they'll never stop.

It's pretty much a continuous thread. Once one disappears, another one pops up. Some people still want to talk about it for some reason.

Nintendoom has been going since the SNES, you are going to keep hearing the same thing over and over probably for the next 50+ years.
