The original creators of minecraft are leaving with all the money. 1,75 BN for Notch, ~ 0,36 BN each for Carl and Jeb (Jakob Bergstein). |
and thats why this is such a stupid move. the real talent behind the game left! 2.5 billion !!

I think he was more like "well, I don't think they would have a reason to do it". Honestly, I think he got the money and simply don't care. All his answers are: I don't know about the future of Minecraft and I don't care, I don't care about the staff and I don't care about the other projects.
It's time for people stop treating these indie devs as genius that care about their fanbase. Just throw some money and they are sold, like everyone else in the industry.
Microsoft has more money than they know what to do with. That's my only conclusion.

lol.. bit dramatic don't you think?
Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)
Even though I was planning on moving away from Minecraft on 360 to Minecraft on PS4, I am happy about the purchase. I think MS will be able to make the game better and will keep it functioning in parity on all consoles. The game is not really a system seller so I think they will want to keep it on as many platforms as possible. Because even if they give Sony a kick in the ass. I can always play PC.
i must be the only one that doesn't see the appeal of this game.

Wow. Microsoft supports the Vita more than Sony does. |
Kaz agrees with you:
Mojang still plan to release Minecraft Vita, meaning Microsoft now has more big name PS Vita games planned than we have
