Pichu walks with me instead of the Shakalaka-companions. And think, if Pichu gets angry and starts buzzing with electricity at monsters 1000 times it's size - that would be awesome.

What is that for an abonimation? Big monsters you never fight with a rocket-launcher (or what this is), you use Hunting Horns!

If I was staring death in the face like that, I'd take the rocket launcher over the hunting horn.

That would actually make a ton of sense. I would love to play a MH where the little helpers get replaced by Pokemon, and they can use up to four different moves. The only way it would ever possibly happen in a million years is that you would have to trap and capture every single wild monster though. Nintendo wouldn't allow Pokemon in such a violent game. The trapping element is already there in MH, at least, and is very similar to Pokemon: weaken it, paralyze it or get it into a trap, put it to sleep with tranqs. Could be modified to weaken it, paralyze it, put it to sleep and/or trap it and throw Pokeballs and hope it doesn't break free.

If it was real life, I'd want that rocket launcher post-haste!
