Has PS4 ever not been in the hourly top 20?

I will put this thread of yours in my "Most interesting thread of the hour list". So far your thread is the only one there.

"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"

I'd rather have those threads than insiderp

I fully agree with OP. Just close threads that use hourly as a basis. These threads are only trying to provoke reactions. Unless hourlys are posted in a way such as 50 hours in a row, top seller, but that is unlikely. Weekly, monthly, yearly only!

plenty of other threads to click on and comment about,or you can start your own thread...imo they arent half as annoying as the jada (or is it toastyboy, could be both cant remember the name) fantasy schtick threads of complete delusion

But but but, it was fine when we were using it for PS4.

Just as the title states, can we PLEASE ban Amazon Hourly?  We have 2 or 3 members making threads almost daily (it's got to be at least once or twice a week) using Amazon hourly bestsellers to "prove" the Xbox One is ahead in sales.  This isn't really a problem with what console they are pushing, but what data they are using to support their case.  Let me tell you why.

First of all, the hourly bestsellers are just that, products that have sold the best for the hour.  Which means THEY CHANGE EVERY HOUR.  So, there is no point in creating a thread about how the sales line up when you see them, since within an hour or two they can change and make you look rather foolish.  Also, considering the fact that it is only for the hour, the difference in sales could be as much as a few dozen units (if they are only a few spots apart), to as little as a couple of units.

And second, if you want to even be taken seriously, use the numbers that actually mean something.  That is the MONTHLY Bestsellers, if you are trying to get a feeling about how NPD could go,  and the YEARLY Bestsellers, which gives you an idea of how things stack up for the year.  Of course, as with any site's/store's numbers, you have to remember that they only represent a fraction of the market.  Still, they can be a good representative of how things are going in other stores, even if not always accurate.

So, that's my message.  What are your thoughts?  Anyway, I'm off to club some seals.

Hourly shows how things change when something new happens. I mostly agree. But it seems like you're just salty about positive Xbox one news

Lol, suuuuure.  And it's not really postive news, unless you stretch it to be.  I mean, if the One is in the bestsellers for the hour every now and then, but still loses in the bestellers for the month and year, was that really a positive outcome?  No.  Again, though, that's not what's wrong.  It's the constant threads everytime it jumps above the PS4 for an hour or two, only for it to fall behind, then another one pops up if it just happens to get ahead, again.

I wouldn't mind that but we should also ban a few other things along with it such as weird ass sites like fool.com or attackofthefanboy.com etc

No, insiderp is still allowed, and those who use hourlys already have -1 credibility anyway.
