Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Super Smash Bros. Is Wrecking Some People's 3DS Handhelds

It's a conspiracy to force people to buy the New 3DS.

More like some people are wrecking their handhelds...What you are saying would be like saying "the Wii is wrecking people's TVs" when they throw their wii remote through it.

That's why Smash Bros. U is superior.

If you're interested in Nintendo content and understand german, maybe you want to take a look at my youtube channel! :)

Um... I'll need to be extra careful.

If definitely must be Nintendo's fault that people are to rough with their handhelds

:O I can't f**** believe how terribly those idiotic people have a ridicuolous lack of care for thier console...

This is 100% not possible when I'm using my 3DS XL. No no no no no.  That's terrible. They have themeselves to blame.  I played more than 3hours in the demo alone and I'm not smacking that circle pad in all directions like a crazy man.

I want them to buy another 3DS so they learn.

You're not meant to make the Wiimote collide with the TV though, but Smash Bros does require swift directional inputs to do Smash moves.
I believe the wear and tear of these motions may be a real concern.

Theres a difference between swift and destructively powerful. Ive destroyed controllers before because I pressed down a button hard enough that it stopped working, but I didn't blame the controller...

So this was Nintendo's plan! Make a game that is super fun which will cause the 3ds users to use the circle pad extensively and then they will be forced to buy a n3ds! Genius!!!

I don't really feel like this is Smash Bros' fault. But either way this hadn't occurred to me and now I am slightly worried.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash
