Forums - Gaming Discussion - Destiny will be an amazing game

The question is, by the time the game becomes amazing will it still be worth the cost of admission?

A game shouldn't need expnsions to become an "amazing" game.

Pretty much this. For the price of 60 dollars, video games should be great/amazing from the get-go! :/

Greedy practices like this will kill the gaming industry if people keep blindly throwing money at these companies

Remember guys, the expansions will add new planets. I'm sure they will add more content to other planets for free as the game progresses

I already think is a great game. I'm enjoying very much, and the raids have not been opened yet. Cant wait! easy a 9/10 for me.

I've seen the gameplay videos which look stunning! Much better than Halo 4 which I enjoyed. But other than the poor story I dont see a valid complaint for this game

That's a very terrible attitude, no offense OP.
Why should we wait for expansions and DLC which we need to pay even more money for?
Why did we pay 60$ in the first place? Because we expected our money's worth out of the quote unquote "first real next gen game".

It is not like Final Fantasy XIV. They just need to add more content to the game. The mechanics are just good. They won't need a "Destiny: A Realm Reborn".

Thats exactly what they need, Destiny "Now with an actual story"

It has a lot of potential, which is currently being wasted, no doubt. I love it so far however. The multiplayer is one of the very few that has be coming back for more.

Well, I think there is an execption with regardless to MMO-esque games, where post-launch patches/updates are needed often.

Still, you're right. Since it is a full release, $60 game, there was a lot more than could have been done to Destiny to make it reach full potential.
