As you all know wii u is pretty much a failure(in terms of sales) right now.

So I thought of deas of Nintendo could possibly do for their next console(the fusion one they are talking about)

1st:Games:

A: 3 Exclusive Major 3rd Party Games:

-These could be new ips or populars ips(like for example a zombie u 2 or something(change the name though). What Nintendo needs to do is advertise it as much as they advertise their first parties(specifically mario kart style).

- I would say they should get excluisve rights to the next main monster hunter to help sales in Japan also advertise it.

- In NA and EU I would get excluisve rights to a game by activision or Ubisoft(maybe EA too) and make sure you advertise everywhere get it known.

B: Exclusive Marketing:

- What Nintendo I think should do is make an agreement with certain 3rd parties and advertise it like its exclusive to their console. Also give it something exclusive that the other versions dont have(ex. special missions only on watch dogs ps4).

C: First Party Games:

-Ok so I personally think they should have a 3d mario or smash bros at launch along with games like a major remake, another returning old franchise, and personally I want to see pikmin 4(one can dream) as a launch title. Nintendo would then have to advertise these everywhere in theaters, on the internet, on tv, everywhere(this includes 3rd parties as wel as said above)

2nd: Specs:

- Nintendo needs to go all out and make it more powerful console than its competiters. This way they can advertise it as the more powerful console.

-Make sure if there is a handheld to go along with it(since its both hh and a homeconsole) it has hd screens.

3rd: Design

- Make sure its an appealing design(personally I think it should come in multiple colors like black,white,red,blue,etc.)

-also dont make it to cluncky or make it a weird shape like a circle(who wants a console thats a circle anyway)

Now Finally

4th: Hype:

-They need to have a confrence to show this off obviously so they gotta hype it.

- This should include all the major exclusives, majore 3rd parties, and showing off specs.

-They should say the advantages of their console(similar to sony with ps4 against xbox one)

How do you think could they do these and suceed, is my format ok, thoughts below :).

Nintendo is barelly willing to lift a pinky for their current Home console. Why would they expend such efforts and above all money on a home console ever again?

I don't think Nintendo will ever make a traditional console again. Ever :(.
It's fusion or something like it from now on.

??? You keep saying this, but what reason would they have not to make a traditional console after just one failure. The Wii sold amazingly. I want to hear your reasoning(other than it would make sense because let's be honest, it's nintendo.)

So basically, become Sony and Microsoft?

EDIT: And they did a lot of this stuff with the Gamecube. 

They had the best console in specs with the GameCube right? Why not go back?

Two views - they should do one of....

1 - become like Sega and go software only on all platforms

or

2 - focus on developing hardware only for their amazing 1st party studios so in other words, don't chase specs and also aim at releasing a new console about 3-4years after Sony/MSFT release theirs.
