That is going to be the best showdown race in the game looking forward to it.

cartoon racer possibly

its not a driving simulator so it cant compete

Funny, Forza Horizon and Driveclub are Arcade Racing games.

None of them have deep customizations on the vehicles like Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo.

The cars in Horzion 2 are fully tuneable now, so as far as customiztion goes they are on par with the cars in Forza Motorsport.  They still are not as detailed since the game will not have a forza vista mode.

wasnt made by turn 10 tho

Horizon 1 wasn't either, still the game was a lot of fun.

Agreed i was just correcting his original post, Praise belongs elsewhere, not Turn 10.  ALthough that might be a bit unfair as i assume they share car assets.

I hope they used anti-aliasing this time. Forza Motorsport 5 looked great, but seriously, jaggies everywhere

The jaggies where not that bad if you want to see tons of jaggies look at a race replay for a standard car in GT6.  I think PD was BS everyone when they said they actually improved some of the standard cars most of them still look horrible especially in replays.

Nope, having played both GT5 and GT6 in the latter the standard cars look a lot better, but still not upto the standards of a late-gen PS3 exclusive.

They do share car assets but Turn 10 should get little to no credit for either game since most of the work was done by Playground Games.  Who probably is a more talented developer since the first game already had a day and night cycle and now they added dynanic weather both features are still missing in the Forza Motorsports games.

Well I have played both games also and to me most of the standard cars still look horrible especially in replays.  A prime example of this would be the 1997 Toyota Supra RZ that car looks horrible in replays and not much better in game.  Good think I also have Forza 3, 4, 5 and Horizon where the car actually looks good in the game.

The standard cars still look pretty bad in GT6, but they don;'t look horrible like in GT5.

I would also have bought a 360 for Forza Motorsport 4 if its physics were comparable to that of GT.

Well all the ones I got so far look pretty horrible.  Can't give you a fair comparison of the physics between GT6 and FM4 since I play FM4 with all the driving aids on exect for assisted braking that being said the driving physics in FM5 are a lot more realistic compared to FM4.

Well then I would borrow Forza 5 from my friend and see for myself. Hope its enough of an improvement for it to be purchase worthy.
