yea and thats how the movie ends too it has the worst ending ever he barely talks about the game its more a back story about the game the review is about 1 minute long and yea he says its not bad.

OT: I haven't watch it and don't plan to....every since the first trailer this looked really really bad, and it looks like I was right.

You really should watch it. It is hard to explaing how awful it is.

It is beyond bad, and not soo bad it is good, it is just embarassing and sad. And I am a huge fan, I feel really bad for saying it, but someone have to, since a lot of people are talking about it like it is Citizen Kane and, honestly, sounds like they watched a diferent movie.

I've always enjoyed the AVGN videos and have not watched the movie, but going off the trailer it just doesn't appeal to me on any level, nor would I pay actual money to watch it. I know he always wanted to do a movie and I hope this gets it out of his system. He is not a feature filmmaker, he makes fun of frustrating games and that was the appeal of him when he reviewed a game you played and pointed out the flaws. He works best that way though he had a real rough patch where his videos seemed to lose the passion, recent ones are better.

The special effects ironically seem to be his downfall, not that they aren't good or fit, but just like with Irate gamer, it's all style and no substance, just as others mention about Rocky, it's the heart of the film not the special effects that make it endearing. He was quoteable, that goes further than some soulless special effects.This movie of his feels like he blew his wad and didn't right something with heart at a feature length...feature.

At this point though, I think he should just do an occasional video, he seems to have done most of the most demanded games and the ones he is familiar with. The videos he does with Mike are ok as casual videos but they lack the replayability of his classic videos.

Also I remember that he took donations to make that movie when he was making a lot of money off his videos. I'm not jealous of his success, but it seemed like he could fund the dream on his own but preferred to take donations ( I believe if you donated you got a copy of the movie or something) which always kind of irked me but of course that was optional so, yeah.

It is funny cause your rant reads like you have seen the movie, you just nailed: it is a mess of special effects, explosions, bad writing, unfunny jokes and idiotic characters in stupid situations.

Troll 2 was a very sincere movie, even the crazy parts felt organic and fluid. This one is just a big mess.

Haven't 'seem' it yet, but it get's a 6.6 on imdb so can't be that bad. Maybe the OP just didn't get the nerd type of humor?
