Forums - Sales Discussion - As I suspected, XB1 has not only been outselling WiiU WW but ...

Are you surprised?

Shocked, though MK would hope up longer. 54 13.67%

No, I knew this would hap... 193 48.86%

Undecided, it was a close call. 148 37.47%

Seece's world. The only place where 55k - 5k = 35k. delusion at it's finest.

2014: 10m/11m LTD
2015: 14/15m LTD
2016: 16/17m LTD
2017: 19m LTD and discontinuation.

Nintendo should pump out whatever first party software theyw ant, to keep their Nintendo fanbase happy, and just try and profit on anything and everything they can.

Way too low... Ignoring all the Wii U games in 2015...

2015: 17-19m

2016: 22-25m

2017: 25-28m

2018: 27-31m new console

2019: 28-32m discontinuation

What WiiU games? Zelda U? It's never been on par with Mario Kart and Smash in terms of pushing hardware and selling as much. Other than that, nothing they have is a hardware pusher.

WiiU will not have those legs, it barely manages 3m a year in its infancy/peak, let alone 3 years down the line.

And until it actually starts selling more than Gamecube, the bearer of proof is on you to logically give reasons as to why it'll sell the way you've suggest it will.

So much retard.

How can people realistically rally for 20k in Europe/US/Outside of Japan.

It's practically a statistical impossibility unles the system is in its twilight years on its very last shipment! There doesn't need to be any more proof than that, it's proof enough.

you were saying it was overtracked even when it wasn't. the correct number is around 70k bellow the current.

And xone is still 200-300k overtracked.

Honestly, its still up in the air, because while XB1 is doing better now, its just making up for when the Wii U was doing better during MK8's sales boost. Even if it was outselling during the beginning of year, we've more or less reached the pre July gap.

XB1 is likely to do better in the holidays because of multiplats and Xbox's performance during the holidays in the states but we have no idea how the XB1 itself performs in a real holiday, and if it doesn't beat the Wii U by a significant margin, it won't pass it till 2015.

I also don't care enough to add the numbers.

Ideally for XB1 its 40% multiplat sales (60% would go to PS4) and Halo MCC vs Nintendo's exclusives, tending XB1 cause Multiplats have a broad appeal and Halo

Realistically, for XB1 its 35% multiplats and MCC vs Nintendo's Exclusives which is pretty even imo.

xone has no chance to do better during holidays.

This post makes me laugh. Wii U has been a good 3rd place behind the PS4 and 3DS according to these charts for a while, (maybe in the U.S. XBone selling more, but not globally), but some still are saying it's selling more as a whole...

Except it is, all the data is laid out in the OP.

WiiU is around 35k (15k in US, 12.5k~ in Europe, 8k in Japan, 10% WW = 3.5k) total = 34k~

XB1 sold it's average for the first 3 weeks of August (in US, which is 33k) and then doubled in the last week to 66k to get its 160k US figures. Take into account US is 60% of XB1's market, (hence why it's so hard to believe it's "below" WiiU in Europe, it very likely isn't.).

The figures speak for themselves. 15k a week in the US for WiiU, not gonna be better anywhere else in the world is it.

your imagination is irrelevant. you're magically reducing european numbers AND ignoring many markets.

Great thread, I see practically no rebuttles, so it's settled!!

I hope we see some adjustments soon to better reflect the actual sales.

settled? you mean your retardedness, right?

All the people that were gloating a few backs about how the wii U was destroying the X1 now are pretending numbers don't matter anymore lol, going full offtopic when it was pretty clear since last shipment numbers from Nintendo that the wii U was overtracked here

eternal denial. or just trolling.

So you are telling me EA access with Madden push sales, wow amazing. Then you say WiiU is slowing down with no big game releases since MK8, another thing I never expected. Where were you in June and July when the WiiU was under tracked Mr. Writer. Oh yeah you were trying to say it was over tracked then too. Even though NPD numbers were showing otherwise.

It's just seece. he won't change.

There's really no point in comparing two consoles selling this terribly. The big news is not the X1 overtaking the Wii U's sales; hair-trigger titles could make that inconsequential sales jump.

The big news is that Hyrule Warriors has had inconsequential sales in Japan.

Terribly? Xbox One has never had a week under 35k Worldwide. Wii U has had 40 of those weeks. Not counting the overtracking going on here for Wii U.
